The Great Pyramids of Giza

Left to right: The Great Pyramid of Cheops 450ft, the largest of the three major pyramids The Pyramid of Chephren 446ft (which looks larger due to it being built on a high rock outcrop) The Pyramid of Mycerinus 217ft and one of the smaller Pyramids of the Queens.

The Pyramid of Chephren, recognisable by the polished limestone cladding which still remains on its peak, stands behind the  Great Sphinx, also built by Chephren. The Sphinx sculptured from a single block of limestone stands 66ft. Alongside it is the red granite Temple of Chephren.
